Shifts needed between 10:00am – 5:30pm at Food Bank for the Heartland (10525 J St, Omaha, NE 68127). Help handout packets, maps, and t-shirts to runners the day before the race. You can help for some or all, whatever amount of time you can donate is appreciated!

6:15 a.m. – 8:15 a.m.

Need people to direct traffic and arrange parking for smooth arrivals on race morning.

6 a.m. – 8:15 a.m.

Help hand out packets and t-shirts to runners before the race starts and get everyone’s kiddos signed up for the race. Kids race registration is 5 canned food items and a legal guardian signature on the waiver.

8 a.m. – Noon(ish)

Support an aid station! Bring your family! Friends! We will provide you with all the supplies needed to keep the runners hydrated and fueled. Your job is to hand out water, fuel, etc. to the runners, offer encouragement, and set up and clean up the aid station.

Flexible – Shifts between 7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Cheer on the runners during the race and point them in the right direction! You will also help in communicating to the aid stations and the race directors when the last runner comes through your location. Once the last runner is through and you have communicated with the course sweepers and race directors, you may leave your post.

9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Run or bike the race course to make sure all the runners are through the course and pickup any large trash items (tshirts, hats, gloves, gu packets, etc.).

9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Help herd and direct the kiddos around their race course.

Time TBD, usually whenever anyone is available between 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. Help us take down all the flagging used to mark the course! We’ll have snacks and goodies provided to keep you fueled. Bring your friends and your dog and enjoy the day!
